Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Gabriel McGowen!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Paul Tew and Colin Fotheringham.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGowen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pat but Pat pushes him off and we're back to square one.
McGowen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pat.
Pat sizes up McGowen with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

It looks like Gabriel McGowen has been cut.
Pat stuns McGowen with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
McGowen shoots in and drives through. Pat sprawls well.
A combination from Pat does no damage.
McGowen blocks a low kick nicely.
McGowen checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Pat misses with a low kick.
McGowen fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Project Pat has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gabriel McGowen.

Pat sends McGowen crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Pat is motioning to the referee to let McGowen up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Nice sprawl there from Pat as McGowen shoots in.
Pat fails with an attempt to clinch.
Pat keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Pat connects with a body shot.
Pat is looking to clinch.
McGowen fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Pat.
Pat with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
McGowen misses with a body shot.
Pat connects with an inside leg kick.
Nice straight punches there by Pat. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Pat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McGowen tries to close the distance and clinch but Pat swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Pat misses with an uppercut

and McGowen counters by moving into the clinch.
Pat is defending well against a takedown attempt.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Pat.
Pat misses with a punch on the inside.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Pat creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
McGowen tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Pat just stands there and leans against the cage.
McGowen goes for a takedown in the clinch but Pat prevents it.
McGowen looking to stall.
McGowen prevents a body shot from Pat.
McGowen misses with a short punch on the inside.
Pat lands a nice uppercut.
McGowen takes a shot to the head.
Pat lands with a short punch from the clinch.
McGowen is trying desperately to land a takedown but Pat is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for McGowen.
Pat scores with a shoulder strike.

McGowen is rocked!
McGowen doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
McGowen is still on wobbly legs! Can Pat finish him?
Pat lands an elbow inside.
Pat dips a shoulder and cracks McGowen with a mighty uppercut! McGowen falls back against the cage and Pat unloads with a barrage of strikes! McGowen is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Pat screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Project Pat!
