Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bryan Vang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tomasz Balt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tomasz Balt looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vang stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Vang wants it to stay on the feet.

Vang gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Balt to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Vang keeping moving, preventing Balt from controlling successfully.
Vang really is a fat lump.
Vang tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Balt wants to control from the top but Vang keeps moving.

Vang isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Balt stacks Vang on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Balt!
Balt wants to take a breather but Vang manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Balt.

Vang has his foot on Balt's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Balt works his way back into a safe position though.
Vang pulls Balt in to control the position.

Vang is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Balt postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Balt pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Vang is keeping the position for now.
Vang wants to sweep here but Balt controlling him for the moment.

Balt wants to control from the top but Vang keeps moving.
Vang is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Vang is breathing heavily.
Vang looking for a sweep. Not yet Vang, not yet.
Balt wants to get up but he can't break Vang's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Balt is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Vang is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Vang has escaped and now he's on top!
Balt is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Balt looking to hit a scissor sweep but Vang is one step ahead there.
Balt can't keep his opponent in guard - Vang advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

We're going to have a standup here because Bryan Vang wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Vang tries to clinch up but Balt circles away and keeps his distance.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Balt gets tackled into the cage by Vang. Vang maintains the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Vang darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Vang has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bryan Vang has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Vang keeps the fight on the outside.
Balt shoots in but no luck this time.
Balt is breathing heavily.

Vang shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Vang passes Balt's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Vang in particular looking to stall.
Balt has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Vang is working away from the top position though.
Vang is looking to advance position but Balt won't allow it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Bryan Vang.

Vang scores with a takedown into Balt's guard.
Balt wants to hit a switch here but Vang passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Balt there!
Vang tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Balt tries to reverse the position but Vang maintains control.

Vang is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Balt is surviving well by controlling Vang's body position as best he can.
Balt really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vang. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Vang lands a couple of good shots and Balt has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Balt rolls, trying to escape but Vang keeps control of the position.
Vang really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Balt.
Bryan Vang overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Vang is cranking Balt's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Balt! He's tightened the choke and Balt is tapping out!
