Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Olof Soderberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bullock James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bullock James will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Soderberg eats them both and turns towards James to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
No joy there for James, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
We've been informed that James has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

James moves into the clinch.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, James just misses with a elbow thrown towards Soderberg's brow.

James manages to break the clinch.
Olof Soderberg seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

James stalks Soderberg and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Soderberg's face. Soderberg staggers backwards, shaken.

James tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Nice sprawl there from James as Soderberg shoots in.

James lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Soderberg backs up against the cage.

James looks to land a combination. Soderberg sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
James misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Soderberg avoids a punch combination nicely.

James gets tackled into the cage by Soderberg. Soderberg maintains the clinch.
Soderberg misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Soderberg ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Soderberg no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Soderberg is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bullock James dominated that round.
That's time! Soderberg's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Soderberg has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
James rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Soderberg moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
James cracks a nice hook into Soderberg's ribs.
James scores with a one two! Soderberg had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
James tries to clinch but Soderberg moves out of range.
James lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
James is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Soderberg like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Soderberg from another fist facial!
