The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kokov misses with an uppercut.
Refn shoots in for a takedown but Kokov shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Refn tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Kokov defends well and Refn ends up having to push Kokov into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Kokov lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Refn is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Refn is controlling Kokov's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Refn wants to control but Kokov is keeping busy.

Refn is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kokov pulls his head out easily.

Refn has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Kokov. Oh but Refn has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Kokov goes limp - he's gone! Refn jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!

A relieved looking Nicolas Refn thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
