Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Justin Hall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Gracie Hunter!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Phil Schofield and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A leg kick checked by Hall.
Hall slips a jab from Hunter.
Hall misses with a two punch combination.
Justin Hall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hall scores with a sloppy right hand. Hunter should have avoided that one.
Hall throws a combination that misses
and Hunter counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Hunter slips a jab and a cross from Hall.

Hunter drives through with a takedown into guard.
Hunter wants to pass the guard but Hall is keeping the position.
Hunter trying to control the position from guard on top but Hall is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hall wants to stand and escape but Hunter is having none of it.
Hunter stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hall swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hunter tries to free his leg and advance position but Hall is retaining full guard.

Hunter drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hall manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Hunter has Hall in his guard.
Hall is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Hall stands and throws Hunter's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Hunter felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
You can see the frustration on Hunter's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Hunter is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Hall is staying active.

Hall wants to stand but Hunter is controlling his arm.

Hunter looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Hunter is keen to just control but Hall is a slippery customer.

Hunter is trying to control. Hall wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Hunter is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hall sees it coming and defends easily.
Hunter wants to take a breather but Hall is having none of it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Hunter wants to advance to full mount but Hall doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Hunter stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hall swivels though and keeps the full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gracie Hunter dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Hunter buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Hunter blocks a jab.

Hunter closes the distance and clinches up with Hall, looking for a takedown. Hunter pushes Hall against the cage but Hall circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Hall is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Hunter takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Hall looks to land a left hand but Hunter moved out of range nicely.

and Hall decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hunter's guard.
We've been hearing good reports from Hall's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Hunter is adopting a defensive guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hall ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hunter moves away.
Hunter uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hall.
Hunter throws a low kick, looking for Hall's leg but Hall calmly moves out of range.
Hall moves away from the strike by Hunter.
Hunter lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hall circles away quickly and effectively.
Hunter tried to score with a low kick but Hall checks it.

and Hall takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Hunter misses with a takedown attempt - Hall sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Justin Hall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gracie Hunter.

The fighters circling - Hall throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Hunter seems to have recovered his senses.
Hall swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Hunter counters with a series of strikes. Hall will be more careful next time no doubt.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hall throws a series of punches but Hunter avoids them all with ease.
Hunter paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Hunter misses with a hook. Hall ducked under it nicely.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Hunter. Hall shrugs it off though.
Hall lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Hall.

Hall gets caught flat footed, as Hunter shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Hall is looking to stand up but Hunter isn't so interested in that idea.
Hall can't keep his opponent in guard - Hunter advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hunter stops Hall from getting back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Justin Hall will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Hall plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Hunter to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Hunter just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Justin Hall!
