Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Justin Whipple (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matteo Vitali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vitali has chosen Amaranthe - The Nexus as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Matteo Vitali was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Dillan Fox and Steve Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vitali lands a nice shot to the body.
Whipple ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Vitali moves away.
Vitali misses with the combination.
Vitali just misses with a punch to the body.
Vitali throws a right and a left that both miss.
Whipple misses the body punch
and Vitali counters with a lovely straight right hand!

It looks like Justin Whipple has been cut.
Vitali has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Whipple is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Matteo Vitali seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vitali misses with a jab, cross combination.
Whipple will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Vitali misses with a low kick as Whipple jumps back.
Whipple fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Vitali checks it well.
Vitali blocks a head kick by Whipple.
Whipple tries to clinch but Vitali moves away

and Vitali counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Whipple has a couple of punches blocked by Vitali.
Whipple tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Vitali smiles and moves away.
Justin Whipple is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Vitali throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Whipple stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Whipple lands a jab-cross combination.
Vitali stuns Whipple with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Vitali looks to land a left hand but Whipple moved out of range nicely.
Vitali scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
The fight stays on the outside here - Whipple looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Vitali tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Whipple was well out of range. Poor timing from Vitali.
Vitali works over Whipple's head and body with a nice combination.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Whipple moves in looking to clinch but Vitali pushes him off.
A shot to the liver by Vitali. Beautiful body shot.
Whipple is breathing heavily.

Whipple wants to clinch

and Vitali holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Whipple managing to block the knees to the body from Vitali.

Vitali's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Whipple has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Whipple there as he acknowledges the shot.
Vitali fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Whipple manages to avoid it.
Whipple's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Whipple duly obliges.
Vitali fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Whipple misses with a body shot.
Whipple doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Vitali lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Whipple at a distance.
Whipple gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Vitali scores with the left hand. Whipple knows he should have avoided that one.
Vitali dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Whipple. That did some damage!

Whipple is rocked!

Justin Whipple's cut is getting worse.
Whipple looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Vitali cracks Whipple with a left hook right on the temple and Whipple goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Vitali lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Whipple is OK!
