The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morawski throws a looping overhand right but Scurlock ducks down to avoid it.
Morawski shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Scurlock as he avoids it easily.
Scurlock sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Morawski dives in and grabs Scurlock's left leg, looking for a takedown. Scurlock pushes down on Morawski's head and hops out.
Morawski connects with an inside leg kick.
Morawski attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Morawski throws a left and a right that both miss
and Scurlock counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Morawski thinking.
Scurlock uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Morawski.
The fighters circling - Morawski throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Krzysztof Morawski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Scurlock's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
