The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Igor Prikhodko and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gail drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Gail tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gail has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Gail fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Klicknakov takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Klicknakov struggling a bit here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Check out the look on Gail's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gail is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Klicknakov is trying to escape and Gail transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Klicknakov is forced to tap! Nice work there by Gail! Very nice indeed!
