Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Glen Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thorbjorn Ramsberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davis comes to the cage accompanied by The Man. Ramsberg has chosen Immigrant Song as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis shoots in but no luck this time.
Ramsberg blocks a low kick nicely.
Ramsberg connects with a looping right hand.

It looks like Glen Davis has been cut.
Ramsberg with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Davis throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ramsberg's waist but Ramsberg gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Davis off to one side.
Horrible takedown by Davis or perhaps it was just good defense by Ramsberg which made him look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Glen Davis. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ramsberg connects with a solid leg kick.
Ramsberg misses with a body shot.
Davis fails with a takedown attempt.

The fighters circling - Ramsberg throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Davis dives in and grabs Ramsberg's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ramsberg pushes down on Davis's head and hops out.

Ramsberg uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Davis.
Ramsberg scores with a sloppy right hand. Davis should have avoided that one.
Davis will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Ramsberg throws a shot from downtown. Davis moves away and avoids it.
Ramsberg tries a head kick but it misses.
Ramsberg fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Davis is breathing heavily.
Ramsberg misses with a looping left.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Davis. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ramsberg lands a nice shot that snaps Davis's head back.
Davis closes the distance and clinches up with Ramsberg, looking for a takedown. Davis pushes Ramsberg against the cage but Ramsberg circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Davis fails with the takedown.
Davis tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Ramsberg defends well and Davis ends up having to push Ramsberg into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Davis is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Ramsberg is trying to push Davis away but Davis has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Ramsberg breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Davis throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Ramsberg lands with a straight right. Davis didn't see that one coming.

Glen Davis's cut is getting worse.
Ramsberg displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Davis.
Davis seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Davis shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ramsberg as he jumps to the side.
Ramsberg stuffs the takedown attempt from Davis. Davis gets slowly back to his feet.
Ramsberg scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Nice cross by Ramsberg.

Glen Davis's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Davis is defended easily by Ramsberg.
Davis throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ramsberg sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Ramsberg is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Davis.
Jab, jab by Ramsberg - just one landing.

Ramsberg dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Davis. That did some damage!
Ramsberg cracks Davis with a good jab.
Davis fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Ramsberg bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Ramsberg cracks Davis with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Ramsberg has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Davis to stand back up!

Davis is rocked!

Jeez, Glen Davis's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Glen Davis's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
