Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dirk Struan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leon Ivashenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivashenko throws a sloppy head kick and Struan moves out of range easily.

Ivashenko shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Struan's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Ivashenko wants to stand but Struan is controlling his posture from full guard.

Ivashenko stands up and waves to Struan to follow him.
Struan tests Ivashenko's chin there with a solid looking shot.

It looks like Leon Ivashenko has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Struan closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Ivashenko! Struan dives in looking to finish! Ivashenko is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
