The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramirez is looking to clinch but Martell is avoiding it.
Ramirez tries to score a power double leg takedown but Martell sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ramirez somewhat.
Martell lands a lovely overhand right.
Martell stuffs the takedown attempt from Ramirez. Ramirez gets slowly back to his feet.

and Martell counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Ramirez thinking.
Quentyn Martell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Juan Ramirez.

and Martell counters with a nice right hand that sends Ramirez toppling to the canvas! Ramirez scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Martell finish him?!

Martell comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Ramirez is trying desperately to land a takedown but Martell is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Ramirez.
Nice takedown defense from Martell. No joy for Ramirez on that attempt.

Ramirez closes the distance and clinches up with Martell, looking for a takedown. Ramirez pushes Martell against the cage but Martell circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Martell throws a monster overhand right that drops Ramirez! Martell follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
