Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pound Mcgee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Hart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mcgee's entrance music is Scorpions - Rock You Like A Hurricane. A fine choice. Hart comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Hide Your Tears kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Pound Mcgee has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
23 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pound Mcgee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Daniel Hart!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Mcgee, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hart misses with a left hand
and Mcgee counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Mcgee takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Hart fails with the takedown
and Mcgee counters with a leg kick.
Mcgee throws a push kick but Hart slaps the foot to one side.
Hart doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Mcgee counters with a head kick.
Mcgee on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Hart. Hart obviously looking to wear him down.
Mcgee fails to land with a series of punches.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mcgee displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hart throws out the jab.
Hart bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Hart wants to control but Mcgee is keeping him busy.
Hart is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Mcgee has escaped the position, nice work there.
Mcgee is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Hart has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Hart has hold of Mcgee's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Mcgee tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Hart cranks the arm and Mcgee screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Mcgee, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Daniel Hart!
