The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maximilian tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Maximilian blocks a low kick nicely.
Maximilian lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Power at a distance.
Power looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Power checks a leg kick.
Power throws a nice looking combination but Maximilian bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Power finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Maximilian drives through and clinches with Power against the cage.
Power is looking to control Maximilian's arms but Maximilian gets an underhook and turns him. Now Power has his back to the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Power has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Maximilian is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Power.

Power postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Maximilian is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Power, into his guard.

Maximilian got a little sloppy there for a moment and Power has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Maximilian has managed to get both his arms back between Power's legs - danger averted.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Power takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Well Power has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
