Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Amos Kelley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Silva connects with a nice looking jab.

Silva dives in and grabs Kelley's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kelley pushes down on Silva's head and hops out.
Silva throws a right and a left that both miss.

Kelley fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Silva avoids it really well and circles away.

Silva is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Kelley can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Silva moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Kelley has worked his arm free - good work by Kelley!

Silva is working for a guillotine from mount but Kelley frees his head quite easily.

Silva passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Kelley!

Silva with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Silva looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Silva has control of Kelley's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Kelley regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Kelley slips a jab and a cross from Silva.
Silva throws a series of punches but Kelley moves out of range.
Kelley tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Silva defends well and Kelley ends up having to push Silva into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Silva is trying to force a seperation but Kelley has the dominant position.
Kelley is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Silva gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Horrible takedown by Kelley or perhaps it was just good defense by Silva which made him look bad.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Silva is pressed up against the cage. Kelley has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Silva down to the mat. Silva avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Silva lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Kelley out cold! Kelley is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
