Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, John Matrix!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Anthony Jacarson!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Nard Betker and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matrix thows a left - swing and a miss!
Matrix tries a low kick but Jacarson avoids it.
Matrix throws a leg kick which misses Jacarson's front leg but catches the back leg as Jacarson tries to avoid it.
We've been hearing reports that Matrix has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Matrix keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Matrix blocks a head kick by Jacarson.
Jacarson throws a sloppy head kick and Matrix moves out of range easily.

John Matrix is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Good leg kick by Jacarson there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

And that's the end of the fight!
John Matrix showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Matrix, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
