Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rocco Stupka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Krayzor Windfather (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stupka comes to the cage accompanied by Red Army March. Windfather has chosen All The Above as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rocco Stupka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 32 - 21 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Krayzor Windfather!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Reed Andrews and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stupka lands a right hook to the body.
Stupka scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Stupka fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Stupka has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Stupka with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Windfather to score with a decent uppercut.
A slow jab from Stupka misses its intended target.
Windfather misses with a takedown attempt - Stupka sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Windfather moves out of range of the strikes.
Windfather shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Stupka but Stupka pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Stupka throws a hook but Windfather avoids it easily.
Windfather ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Stupka moves away.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Windfather slips under a jab from Stupka.
Stupka dips to his left and cracks Windfather with an uppercut!
Stupka fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Windfather manages to avoid it.
Rocco Stupka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A big left from Stupka misses.
Windfather misses with a body shot
and Stupka counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Oooooh!!! Stupka has knocked Windfather down with a huge combo! Stupka steps away and waves a wobbly Windfather back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!


It looks like Krayzor Windfather has been cut.

Stupka moves out of range of the strikes.
Rocco Stupka is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A looping hook to the body misses from Stupka. Windfather does a little dance to reset his feet.

Windfather feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Windfather throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Stupka works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Windfather loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Stupka has Windfather pulled in close to control his posture.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This has been an exciting period of action!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Rocco Stupka.
Windfather swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Windfather takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Stupka ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Windfather moves away.
A swing and a miss from Windfather.
Windfather has a takedown stuffed.
Rocco Stupka has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Krayzor Windfather.
Windfather takes one to the side of the head.
Stupka lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Windfather takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Stupka uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Windfather.
Windfather on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Windfather uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Stupka.
Stupka displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Windfather.

Stupka swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Windfather.
Stupka digs a good body shot into Windfather's ribs.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Windfather ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Stupka throws an overhand right that lands on Windfather's shoulder, as Windfather tries to avoid the shot.
Stupka misses with a looping right.
A left lands for Stupka.
Stupka scores with a shot to the body.

Windfather moves out of range as Stupka strikes.
Stupka leaves Windfather with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Windfather looks winded!
Stupka throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Stupka feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Windfathers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Windfather on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Stupka connects with the punch.


Windfather is rocked!
Windfather throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Stupka sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Stupka darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Windfather is still on wobbly legs! Can Stupka finish him?
Stupka cracks Windfather with a left hook right on the temple and Windfather goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Stupka lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Windfather is OK!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Rocco Stupka!
Rocco Stupka decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
