The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yerly is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ko's half guard.
Yerly drops an elbow to the side of Ko's head.
Ko has hold of Yerly's hands but Yerly slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Yerly has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Yerly seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Yerly winds up and cracks Ko with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Yerly connects with a nice short shot to Ko's temple.

Yerly scores with a big shot! Ko's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Ko! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
