The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gracie shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Augusto manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Augusto keeping moving, preventing Gracie from controlling successfully.

Augusto is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Gracie defends well.

Gracie's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Kirk Gracie has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Kirk Gracie.

Gracie shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Augusto's guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gracie is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Gracie looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Gracie seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Augusto is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
