Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tomo Fukasawa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Macky Jawara!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Saam Ante and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jawara rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Fukasawa counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Nice takedown defense from Jawara. No joy for Fukasawa on that attempt.
Fukasawa wants to clinch up but Jawara keeps it at a distance.
Fukasawa thuds a left hand into Jawara's body.
Fukasawa is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jawara sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Fukasawa misses with a takedown attempt - Jawara sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tomo Fukasawa. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jawara stuffs the takedown attempt from Fukasawa. Fukasawa gets slowly back to his feet.
Jawara buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Tomo Fukasawa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jawara keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Fukasawa.
Fukasawa pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Jawara back to the cage. Fukasawa follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Fukasawa scores with a three punch combo!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Fukasawa throws a series of punches but Jawara avoids them all with ease.

Fukasawa gets a takedown into half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Fukasawa wants to stand up but Jawara is controlling the position.

Jawara is looking to improve his position.
Jawara is doing well to control the position and prevent Fukasawa from advancing to side control.
Jawara is trying to get back to full guard.
Fukasawa seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jawara does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Fukasawa looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Fukasawa looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Jawara is concentrating on defense, preventing Fukasawa from advancing position.

Jawara wants to get back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fukasawa is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Fukasawa is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Fukasawa is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Jawara manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Oooh a lovely combination from Jawara sends Fukasawa down but not out. Jawara dives into side control looking to finish.


Fukasawa is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Jawara is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Fukasawa has escaped the position, nice work there.
Oh Fukasawa is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jawara really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fukasawa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jawara prevents Fukasawa from escaping the position.
Jawara is working Fukasawa over with some ground and pound from side control.

Jawara stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Jawara misses with the combination.
Jawara connects with a leg kick. Fukasawa looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Jawara lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Fukasawa goes down and covers up as Jawara starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Macky Jawara!
Tomo Fukasawa was interviewed post fight and said 'Battle Lost but the War continues - Team Goroshi - Aplha-Male Supplements'.
