Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Kennedy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bariga Kodeinich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kodeinich comes into a darkened arena with his song building. izraelskiy kodeinshik kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Marcus Kennedy has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Marcus Kennedy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bariga Kodeinich!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Damien Edna and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kennedy steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kodeinich.
Kodeinich pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Kodeinich has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
A jab from Kodeinich finds it's way through Kennedy's defenses.

Kennedy tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kodeinich paws at him with a jab and circles away.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Kodeinich might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Kennedy haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Kennedy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Kodeinich got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kennedy has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kodeinich has managed to get both his arms back between Kennedy's legs - danger averted.

That was a close round but I would say that Marcus Kennedy will probably get the nod.

Kennedy closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kodeinich tries to get to full guard but Kennedy has control of the leg.
Kennedy will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

I would just about give that final round to Bariga Kodeinich.
