Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Helmut Doerner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Red Wolf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doerner's entrance music is Balls to the Wall by Accept. A fine choice. Wolf is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Shawnee Sioux War Dance. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doerner thows a body shot but no joy.
Wolf scores with a hook to the body. Doerner takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Wolf looks to land a right hand but Doerner moved out of range.
We've been hearing reports that Doerner has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Doerner keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Wolf throws a leg kick but Doerner sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Wolf moves away from the strike by Doerner.
Doerner shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wolf as he avoids it easily.
Doerner shoots in looking for a takedown but Wolf manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Doerner's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Helmut Doerner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Doerner takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Wolf has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Wolf misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Doerner.

Oh Doerner is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wolf lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Wolf and Doerner are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Wolf throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Doerner into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Wolf knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.

Red Wolf got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
