Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Matthew Emanuel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Rose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Emanuel comes into the arena with The Wizard by Black Sabbath blaring out of the sound system. Rose is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Another One Bites The Dust. Matthew Emanuel has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emanuel forces Rose back against the cage and clinches.
Emanuel can't find room to land a body shot as Rose controls the action.
Emanuel goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Emanuel tries to circle away but Rose has him pinned against the cage.
Rose throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Rose lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Emanuel or not.
Emanuel manages to break the clinch.
Emanuel takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Rose throws a shot from downtown. Emanuel moves away and avoids it.
Emanuel slips a jab from Rose.
Emanuel misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Emanuel tries a head kick but it misses.
Rose throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Emanuel closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Emanuel bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Rose's head.
Emanuel with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Rose misses with a jab, cross combination.
Rose keeps the fight on the outside.
Rose throws a right and a left that Emanuel avoids nicely.
Emanuel lands with a nice combination. Rose backs away looking to recover.
Rose throws a solid leg kick but Emanuel takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Rose.
Emanuel cracks Rose with a good jab.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Emanuel jabs Rose to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Emanuel misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A combination from Rose does no damage.
Emanuel throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rose lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Emanuel at a distance.
Emanuel swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Emanuel jabs Rose right on the nose. Rose blinks but takes it well.
Emanuel lands a nice looking kick to the body. Rose takes a step back to recover.
Rose throws a body punch but Emanuel moves out of range.
Emanuel with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Rose to score with a decent uppercut.
Emanuel takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Emanuel lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rose circles away quickly and effectively.
Rose throws the kick towards the body but Emanuel avoids it.
Emanuel ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rose moves away.
Rose looks to throw the jab but Emanuel is out of range.
Emanuel ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fighters circling - Rose throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Rose throws a hook but Emanuel blocks it.
Emanuel wants to clinch
and Rose counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Rose thows a body shot but no joy.
Emanuel pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Emanuel scores with a one two! Rose had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Rose throws a hook but Emanuel blocks it.
Emanuel lands with a kick to the temple. Rose shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Rose is rocked!
Rose throws a push kick but Emanuel slaps the foot to one side.
Rose is still on wobbly legs! Can Emanuel finish him?
Rose misses with an uppercut
and Emanuel counters with a big right hand! Oh Rose is in trouble here! Emanuel follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Matthew Emanuel!
