Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Matt Chiasson!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Wagner Zegers and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chiasson closes the distance and clinches up with Joseph, looking for a takedown. Chiasson pushes Joseph against the cage but Joseph circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Chiasson fails with a takedown attempt.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Joseph is defended easily by Chiasson.
Chiasson gets caught flat footed, as Joseph shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Joseph wants to pass the guard but Chiasson is keeping the position.
Joseph slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Joseph is standing up over Chiasson. Chiasson looks to escape but Joseph dives into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Chiasson tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Chiasson is trying to work for a sweep but Joseph has mounted him!
Chiasson is in a horrible position here. Joseph smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Joseph lands a big shot there that rocks Chiasson but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Chiasson can't escape the position.
Joseph cracks Chiasson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Joseph lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Joseph is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Chiasson is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Chiasson flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Joseph anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Chiasson and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Joseph slips an arm under Chiasson chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Joseph has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Joseph is squeezing on Chiasson like an anaconda would it's prey. Chiasson fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Sydney Joseph!
