Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Kas Crum!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Thomas James!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Phil Schofield and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Crum's waist but Crum gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing James off to one side.

Crum has James up against the cage in a clinch.
James jumps guard but Crum stands there with James around his waist. James gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
James is trying to pull guard but Crum has him pressed against the cage.
Kas Crum has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thomas James.

Crum breaks from the clinch.
James shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Crum scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Crum tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Crum wants to lay and pray for a moment but James keeps working.

That's one minute gone in the round.
James is trying to get back to half guard.
Crum wants to stand but James has his arm trapped.
Crum working away.
Crum trying to control the position but James is working away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Kas Crum just wasn't active enough.

James gets caught flat footed, as Crum shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Crum is breathing heavily.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as James holds on and takes a little breather.
Crum definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Crum moves into the clinch successfully.

Crum escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Crum has managed to clinch.
Crum misses with a body punch.

Crum drags the fight down to the ground.
James wants to pass the guard but Crum is keeping the position.

James drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. James seems to have locked his on tight now - Crum screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for James, as he picks up the win!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Thomas James!
