Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Fox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Steve Fox has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Donald Grub and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith tries to bum rush Fox with a series of wild strikes but Fox uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Steve Fox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fox throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Smith.
Fox uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Smith has time to react.
Fox moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Smith drives through with a takedown into guard.
Smith sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Fox's guard.
Fox wants to stand back up but Smith manages to pass into side control.
Fox is trying to get back to his feet.
Smith slows the pace down.
It looks like Smith might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Smith decides to stand back up.

Fox throws a right and a left that both miss.
Smith tries to clinch but Fox moves out of range.
Smith fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Fox misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Smith.
Fox misses with a two punch combination.
Fox connects with a body shot.
Steve Fox is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Fox gets caught napping as Smith dives in and scores a takedown. Fox manages to retain guard.
Fox knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Smith on the ground.
Fox is looking to stand back up but Smith counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Fox.
Fox looks like he's trying to stand up.

Smith decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Fox looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Fox cracks Smith with a good jab.
Fox misses with a few strikes there.

Fox fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Fox is breathing heavily.
Fox swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Smith closes the distance and pushes Fox back into the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Fox tries to break free but Smith pushes him back against the cage.
Fox wants to break the clinch but can't.

Smith jumps into guard, dragging Fox to the mat.
Smith pulls Fox in close to prevent any damage.

Fox has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Smith to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Fox is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Smith pulls down on the head and he's put Fox to sleep! This one is all over!
