The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Phoenix takes the fight into the clinch.
Phoenix tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Warrior blocking some punches.
Warrior tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Phoenix just stands there and leans against the cage.
Phoenix working aggressively here.
Warrior is trying to pull guard but Phoenix has him pressed against the cage.
Warrior's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Warrior blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Warrior ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Warrior no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Warrior bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Phoenix's guard.
Warrior throwing strikes from guard but Phoenix blocks nicely.
Warrior pushes down on Phoenix's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Warrior throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Warrior wants to lay and pray for a moment but Phoenix keeps working.

Phoenix is trying to stand back up but Warrior is controlling him
Warrior has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Warrior is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Phoenix is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
