Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jet Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ayrton Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Li comes to the cage accompanied by Tourniquet by Evanescence. Silva has chosen METAMORFOSE AMBULANTE - RAUL SEIXAS as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li pushes Silva away with a front kick.
Li looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Both fighters circling a little - Li finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Li throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Silva.
An inside leg kick lands from Li.
Silva tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Li counters with a solid body kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Silva looks to clinch
and Li counters with a nice low kick that buckles Silva's knee momentarily.
Li fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Li plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Li lands a high kick!
Li lands with a kick to the ribs.
Li throws a nice inside leg kick.
Jet Li is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A nice inside leg kick there by Li. That's going to slow Silva down.
Li has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Bruize Brothers in the buildup to the fight.
Li dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Silva. That did some damage!

Li lands a head kick that stumbles Silva and the fighters go to the mat.

Silva is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
