The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schwetty throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Nice defenses there by Pak.
Pak slips a jab and a cross from Schwetty.
Pak takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Schwetty fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pak manages to avoid it.
Good leg kick by Schwetty there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Schwetty has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Gold Standard Elite Gym in the buildup to the fight.

Pak turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Pak manages to end up in side control.

Pak wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Schwetty, who protects the arm well.

Pak is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Schwetty is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Pak works to advance to full mount. Schwetty defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Pak is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Schwetty to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Schwetty shrugs it off.

A close round but Dong Ming Pak will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Pak ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Pak no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

and Pak decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Schwetty's guard.

Oh but Pak is tightening it up a little... Schwetty has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Schwetty reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Schwetty taps out! Nice BJJ there by Pak!

After winning the bout, Dong Ming Pak thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
