PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jake Kilmster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Lola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kilmster kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Maylene & The Sons of Disaster - Darkest of Kin. Don Lola has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Lola finds it's way through Kilmster's defenses.
A looping hook to the body misses from Lola. Kilmster does a little dance to reset his feet.
Lola swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Kilmster.
Lola throws a low kick but Kilmster moves out of range easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kilmster moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Lola has worked his arm free - good work by Lola!

Kilmster swings around for an armbar but Lola sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Kilmster's guard.

Kilmster has his foot on Lola's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lola works his way back into a safe position though.
Kilmster has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

A big strike lands for Kilmster! That's really hurt Lola and he's turned his back - Kilmster keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Kilmster jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
