Nice takedown defense from Segal. No joy for Salnik on that attempt.
Salnik shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Segal but Segal pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Salnik's coach down at Koi Training Center was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Salnik's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Salnik fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Segal avoids it really well and circles away.
