The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grir takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Beckers circles away from the clinch attempt.

Grir rushes Beckers and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Grir putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Beckers in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Beckers is trying to force a seperation but Grir has the dominant position.
Grir stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Grir unloads a knee to the mid-section. Beckers lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Beckers looks to land a left hand but Grir moved out of range nicely.
Grir misses with a few strikes there.
Grir tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Beckers manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Grir swats away the attempt to clinch by Beckers.

Grir wants to clinch up but Beckers keeps it at a distance.
Grir ducks under a wild hook from Beckers.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Beckers is trying to force a seperation but Grir has the dominant position.

Grir lands a nice elbow.
Grir creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Beckers's defenses.
Beckers is trying to break the clinch but Grir is controlling him.
Grir tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Beckers's elbow.
Grir with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.

It looks like Ernest Beckers has been cut.

Grir pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
The fight stays on the outside here - Grir looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Grir throws a series of punches but Beckers avoids them all with ease.

Beckers lands a lovely overhand right.

Grir throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Beckers crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
