Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hoban Washburn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bronco Buster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Washburn might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Magic Carpet Ride. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buster misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Washburn takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Buster has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Buster, as that shot connected.

Washburn remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
