The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramos shoots in for a double leg but Mitchell sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Mitchell lands a two punch combo.
Chris Mitchell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Ramos decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Mitchell's guard.
Ramos slips nicely into half guard.
Ramos uses his free foot to push down on Mitchell's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Mitchell.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mitchell's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Mitchell is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Ramos locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Mitchell is forced to tap!
