Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Marco Aerts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nikolai Valuev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aerts comes to the ring accompanied by Mama Said Knock You Out. On his way into the ring it seems that Marco Aerts has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Marco Aerts seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Nikolai Valuev!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Glass and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valuev has closed the distance and engaged Aerts in a clinch.
Valuev breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Valuev fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Aerts misses with a double jab.
Aerts looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Aerts tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Aerts lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Nikolai Valuev has been cut.
Valuev throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Aerts.
Sloppy strikes from Aerts. Those never looked like landing.
Marco Aerts seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Some wild striking there from Valuev.
Aerts lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Aerts misses with a two punch combination.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Aerts feints and then cracks Valuev's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Valuev down.
Aerts throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
A head kick from Aerts lands but Valuev takes it in his stride.
Aerts lands a head kick!
Aerts avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Aerts ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Valuev moves away.
Valuev throws a sloppy head kick and Aerts moves out of range easily.
Valuev takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Valuev looks winded!
Aerts dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Aerts throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Valuev.
Aerts goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Valuev steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Aerts. That one must have hurt.
Aerts throws out a head kick that Valuev doesn't see coming - it connects and sends Valuev crashing to the mat face first! He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? He's taking a good look into Valuev's eyes and has decided to let it go on!
Valuev takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Valuev drops his hands momentarily and Aerts needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Valuev just on the top of the head. Valuev drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Valuev - he's done!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Marco Aerts!
