The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zaal is looking to clinch but Bollanos is avoiding it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bollanos. Zaal does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bollanos throws a jab when Zaal was well out of range.
Bollanos uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Zaal.
Bollanos lands a right hook to the body.
A slow jab from Zaal misses its intended target.
Zaal fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bollanos looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Zaal wants to clinch.
Zaal misses with a series of wild punches.
Tyquan Zaal seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Zaal moves into the clinch successfully.
Bollanos stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
The referee is keeping an eye on Zaal - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Zaal tries to land knees in the clinch but Bollanos avoids the damage to the body.
Bollanos is trying to break the clinch but Zaal is controlling him.

and Bollanos counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Bollanos stalks Zaal and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Zaal's face. Zaal staggers backwards, shaken.

Bollanos fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Zaal manages to avoid it.
Zaal scores with a jab.
Nice defenses there by Bollanos.
Zaal throws an overhand right that lands on Bollanos's shoulder, as Bollanos tries to avoid the shot.
Zaal tries to clinch but Bollanos moves away
enabling Bollanos to counter with a crisp jab.
Bollanos just misses with a punch to the body.
Bollanos misses with a hook. Zaal ducked under it nicely.
Zaal moves in looking to clinch but Bollanos pushes him off.
Bollanos is looking to wear down Zaal with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Bollanos misses with the combination.
Zaal misses with a looping left.

Zaal avoids the body shot from Bollanos.
Zaal takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Zaal closes the distance looking to clinch

and Bollanos counters with a crisp right hand that drops Zaal! Bollanos lets Zaal back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
