Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Abrahem Lior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rock Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rock Stone has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Abrahem Lior!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rock Stone!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Summer Carpenter and Steve Erwin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Lior as Stone shoots in.

Lior dives in and scores a takedown into Stone's guard.

Stone had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Lior defends it easily.
Lior showing good wrestling skills to control the position.

Stone tries to improve position but can't.

Lior stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Lior takes the fight into the clinch.
Lior gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Stone.
Stone has had enough of the clinch but Lior keeps him there for the moment.

Lior throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Lior tries a head kick but it misses.
Lior misses with a hook. Stone ducked under it nicely.

It looks like Rock Stone has been cut.
Lior throws a sloppy head kick and Stone moves out of range easily.

Lior forces Stone back against the cage and clinches.
Stone is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Lior leaning his opponent against the cage.
Stone is looking to control Lior's arms but Lior gets an underhook and turns him. Now Stone has his back to the cage.
Stone is trying to push Lior away but Lior has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Stone wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Stone fails to pull guard.
Abrahem Lior has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rock Stone.
Stone wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Lior escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A nice inside leg kick there by Lior. That's going to slow Stone down.
Lior throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Stone.

Stone tries to clinch up but Lior circles away and keeps his distance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lior throws a right and a left that both miss.
A telegraphed right hand from Stone misses the target.
Stone tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Lior slips a jab and a cross from Stone.
Lior dives in and grabs Stone's left leg, looking for a takedown. Stone pushes down on Lior's head and hops out.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Lior moves into the clinch successfully.
Stone wants to break the clinch but can't.
Lior tries to pull guard but Stone won't allow it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Stone avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lior leaves Stone with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Abrahem Lior is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Stone shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lior defends it nicely.
Stone tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lior swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Lior clinches up with Stone and pushes him back against the cage.

Stone jumps guard.
Stone is trying to control the position but Lior postures up.
Lior wanted to stand there but Stone had control of the position.
Lior's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Stone escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lior gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Stone isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Lior stacks Stone on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Lior!

You can see the frustration on Stone's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Stone tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Lior easily slips into full mount!
Lior tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Lior prevents Stone from getting the reversal.

Lior wants to control the pace but Stone is squirming around nicely.
Lior takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Stone tries to escape but Lior has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Stone looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Stone rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Stone is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Lior's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Lior's back!

A close second round but Rock Stone will probably get the nod - 10:9.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Stone changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lior tries to avoid it but Stone manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lior to the ground. Lior escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A head kick misses from Lior.

Lior throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Stone was covering up waiting for the punch and Lior finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Lior controls from within his opponent's guard.

Lior got a little sloppy there for a moment and Stone has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lior has managed to get both his arms back between Stone's legs - danger averted.
Lior has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Stone is on top in guard.

Stone goes for a double leg but Lior avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Lior continues to drive forward.
Stone takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Lior escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Lior closes the distance and pushes Stone back into the cage.

Lior throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lior turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Lior seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Stone shoots in looking for a takedown but Lior manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Stone's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Lior throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Lior closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Lior lands in his opponent's guard.

Stone is looking for a triangle but Lior pushes his legs off easily.
