Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Terrence Lang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Terrence Lang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jon Machida!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Taro Takaoka and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machida shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lang but Lang pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Machida wants to clinch.
Machida tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lang swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Machida misses with a takedown attempt
and Lang counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Machida's guard now.
Machida wants to stand but Lang is controlling the position.
Lang is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Machida is working an open guard so Lang takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Machida shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lang as he jumps to the side.
Terrence Lang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Machida.
Machida tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lang swats him away and circles back towards the center.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lang fails to land with a series of punches.
Lang could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Lang throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Machida tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Lang is in Machida's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lang stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Machida throws a body punch but Lang moves out of range.
Machida wants to clinch but Lang slips to the side
and Lang holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Machida is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Machida looks winded!
Machida wants to get back to striking at distance but Lang won't allow it.
Machida drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Lang jumps guard.
Lang striking off his back, scoring a few points.
Lang is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Lang seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Lang connects with a nice short shot to Machida's temple.
Machida throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lang gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Lang drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Machida being controlled for a moment.
Lang has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lang forces Machida back against the cage and clinches.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Machida fails to pull guard.
Lang breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lang shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Machida's guard.
Lang sitting in guard here, content to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Lang landing with the ground and pound.
Lang seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
We're going to have a standup here because Terrence Lang wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Lang shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Machida is trying to defend but Lang finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lang controlling the pace.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Terrence Lang dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Machida gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Machida working a defensive guard here.
Lang working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Lang controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Lang stands and steps away. Machida gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Lang moves into the clinch successfully.
Machida fails to pull guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lang stalling the fight.
Lang lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Machida.
Machida is breathing heavily.
Lang tightens his grip and picks Machida up, before dumping him to the ground. Machida manages to land in guard.
Lang might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Machida being controlled here, momentarily.
Machida really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lang. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Machida working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Lang has passed into half guard!
Lang lands with a punch from half guard.
Lang is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Machida can do to turn this around?
Lang controlling the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lang uses his free foot to push down on Machida's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Machida.
Lang is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Lang extends the arm and Machida is forced to tap!
