Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between RayRay Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Everheart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, RayRay Williams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gabriel Everheart!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Everheart closes this distance looking for a takedown but Williams circles away.
Everheart stuffs the takedown.

Everheart closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Everheart wants to pass the guard but Williams is defending well.
Everheart prevents Williams from standing back up.
Williams wants to improve his position but Everheart is controlling well.
Williams trying to get back to full guard but Everheart takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
Everheart controlling the pace for now.
Williams tries to lock up and control but Everheart gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Williams tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Everheart misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Everheart is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Williams has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Everheart fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Williams to the ground. Everheart is now in Williams's guard.
Williams is breathing heavily.
Everheart throws a big elbow that misses.
Everheart tries to stand but Williams is controlling from the bottom.
Williams is wriggling around but Everheart manages to pass to half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Williams has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Everheart is working away from the top position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Williams is trying to stand up here but Everheart is controlling him well.
Everheart with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Everheart prevents Williams from standing back up.

Everheart seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Everheart working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Williams could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Everheart missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Everheart wants to control but Williams is keeping him busy.
Still in half guard, Everheart seems content to control.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Everheart is looking to take a break and control but Williams is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Williams can't do much from the bottom here.
Williams takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Everheart stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Everheart fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Williams avoids it really well and circles away.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Everheart closes the distance and clinches up with Williams, looking for a takedown. Everheart pushes Williams against the cage but Williams circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
RayRay Williams has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gabriel Everheart.
Everheart shoots for a double leg takedown but Williams sprawls well. He's pushed Everheart's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Everheart is trying to control the position but Williams postures up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Everheart is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Williams throws a big elbow that misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

RayRay Williams is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Everheart doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Williams counters with an inside leg kick.
Williams throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Everheart.
Williams throws a sloppy head kick and Everheart moves out of range easily.
Everheart defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Williams.
Williams misses with a straight left.

Everheart looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Williams actively working from the bottom here.

Everheart stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Williams to get to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Williams swats away the attempt to clinch by Everheart.

Everheart breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Williams throws a series of punches but Everheart avoids them all with ease.

Everheart closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Everheart tries to move to mount but Williams blocks the move with his legs.
Williams wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Williams trying his best to control but Everheart has mounted him.

Williams wants to control but Everheart is having none of it.
Everheart punishing his opponent with strikes.
Gabriel Everheart has got the better of the ground game so far.
Williams tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Everheart takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Everheart jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Williams is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Williams and Everheart has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Everheart stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Williams tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Everheart paws at him with a jab and circles away.
RayRay Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Everheart has closed the distance and engaged Williams in a clinch.
Williams has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Williams is trying to force a seperation but Everheart has the dominant position.

Williams breaks the clinch.
Williams throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Everheart counters with a shoot takedown. Williams fights it but they end up in guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Williams trying to keep a closed guard but Everheart is proving a slippery customer.
Everheart not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Everheart stands and throws Williams's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Everheart in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Williams is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
