Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lance Hawkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arvel Garnett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hawkins comes to the cage accompanied by Coldplay com Viva la Vida. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Arvel Garnett was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garnett fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Garnett with a jab.
Hawkins misses the shot to the body.

Hawkins closes the distance and pushes Garnett back into the cage.
Hawkins with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Garnett escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hawkins walks into a straight right hand from Garnett.
Garnett throws a leg kick which misses Hawkins's front leg but catches the back leg as Hawkins tries to avoid it.
Garnett scores with a nice head shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hawkins defending well as Garnett loads up on a big left hand.
Hawkins throws a low kick but it's checked well by Garnett.

Hawkins darts in and clinches Garnett up against the cage.

Garnett breaks the clinch.

Hawkins moves into range and clinches up with Garnett.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Garnett.
Hawkins tries for a takedown. No joy.
Hawkins swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Hawkins has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Garnett avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Garnett breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

and Garnett counters with a nice body shot.
Garnett thows a body kick. Hawkins tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Garnett bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Hawkins definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Garnett fakes the leg kick and cracks Hawkins in the body.
Garnett scores with a body shot.
Hawkins is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Garnett lands a nice shot that snaps Hawkins's head back.
Hawkins swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Garnett sizes up Hawkins with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Hawkins is rocked!
Garnett ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Hawkins's jaw. Hawkins's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Garnett does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
