PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Armor King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gigantor Ubereem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think King might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Armor King. Ubereem has chosen - as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King throws a head kick but Ubereem moves out of range.
A head kick misses from King.
Ubereem connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Ubereem tries to sprawl but King drives through with a takedown into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
King wants to free his trapped foot but Ubereem is holding on for dear life with his legs.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

King is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ubereem is just riding it out for now. King eventually gives up the hold.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Ubereem throws a strike but King rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Ubereem has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. King is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

King has clasped his hands together around Ubereem's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Ubereem is looking to regain half guard here but King keeps moving and retains side control.
King wants to control but Ubereem is keeping him busy.

King throws the kick towards the body but Ubereem avoids it.
Gigantor Ubereem seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

King moves into the clinch successfully.

King has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Ubereem clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
King wants to control but Ubereem is keeping busy.

King is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Ubereem tries to escape but King has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

King has good solid back control here.
Armor King overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
King is looking to control Ubereem but Ubereem is wriggling around and keeping busy.
You can see the frustration on Ubereem's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

King is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Ubereem is defending well though. King let's go of the attempt for now.
King gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.

Ubereem breaks King's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Ubereem slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

King has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Ubereem is working away from the top position though.

King is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Ubereem lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Ubereem pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Ubereem looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has King covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
