The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Bomb will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Hensley shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. The Bomb defends it nicely.

Hensley closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Hensley is pressing down on The Bomb's thigh, looking to free his foot. The Bomb is holding on for now.
Hensley is figuring out what he wants to do next.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ulysses Hensley.

The Bomb has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Hensley has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Hensley wants to break the clinch but can't.

Hensley ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Hensley no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

The Bomb shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hensley's guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Hensley decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The Bomb is staying active underneath Hensley, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The Bomb fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hensley sprawls well initially but The Bomb persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hensley turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Hensley manages to end up in side control.
