Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jake Shields (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Wietrzny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wietrzny comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Hunter-Fallen kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shields shoots in and bounces Wietrzny off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Shields has gone for a leg lock! Wietrzny slips out almost immediately though and dives into Shields's guard.
Shields pulls Wietrzny in close to prevent any damage.
Shields is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Shields keeping moving, preventing Wietrzny from controlling successfully.
Shields is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Wietrzny content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Shields has locked up a guillotine! Shields's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Wietrzny is holding on here and Shields must be using up a lot of energy. Wietrzny has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Shields gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

A relieved looking Jake Shields thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
