The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lowry misses with a jab, cross combination.
Lowry waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Crawford.
Lowry misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
No joy there for Lowry, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lowry falls off balance throwing a combination
and Crawford counters with a one-two to the body.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Crawford has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Crawford walks into a stiff left hand from Lowry.
Lowry throws a body punch but Crawford moves out of range.
Crawford rushes Lowry and presses him up against the cage.
Crawford has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Lowry clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Crawford keeps control of the position easily here as Lowry tries to buck him off.

Crawford sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Lowry taps out!
