The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velasquez shoots for a double leg takedown but Juntta sprawls well. He's pushed Velasquez's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

We've been hearing good reports from Velasquez's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Jussi Juntta dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Juntta manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Velasquez on his heels. He'll look to pass Velasquez's guard now, I'm sure.

Juntta stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Velasquez has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Juntta manages to get his head free but now Velasquez has transitioned to an armbar! Juntta grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Velasquez! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Cain Velasquez!
A very excited looking Cain Velasquez made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
