Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jaap Thiadens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeffrey Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thiadens comes to the ring accompanied by Yellow Submarine. Miller is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Killers. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Thiadens crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Miller - the referee stops the clock and Thiadens gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Miller. Thiadens manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Miller looks to land a left hand but Thiadens moved out of range nicely.
Jeffrey Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A nice leg kick lands there from Miller.
Miller shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Miller tries to work over Thiadens's front leg with a kick but Thiadens checks it.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Miller lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Thiadens has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Thiadens and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Miller misses with a low kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Thiadens avoids the head kick by Miller.
Miller will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Good work by Thiadens as he checks the leg kick.
Miller stuffs the takedown attempt from Thiadens. Thiadens gets slowly back to his feet.
A head kick misses from Miller.
Miller looks to land a body kick but Thiadens moved away.

Miller shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Miller was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Miller misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Miller tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Thiadens is trying to improve his position.

Thiadens is trying to control Miller's posture but Miller avoids it.
Miller lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Miller throws a strike aimed at the side of Thiadens's head but Thiadens avoids it well.
Check out the look on Miller's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Miller postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Miller is looking to take a break and control but Thiadens is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Thiadens manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Miller connects with a nice short shot to Thiadens's temple.
Miller is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.

Miller throws a big elbow that misses.

Miller is looking to advance position but Thiadens has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Thiadens quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Thiadens but it's paid off an Miller is forced to tap! Nice work by Thiadens.

Jaap Thiadens was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
