Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Stephane Phillips (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lazarus Po (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Phillips comes to the cage accompanied by Bing Bong by Korki Buchek. Po has chosen Tribal Seeds- Vampire as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phillips throws a lazy head kick
and Po makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Phillips misses with a wild body shot.
Phillips pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Phillips throws a head kick but Po moves out of range.
Po pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Phillips shoots in looking for a takedown. Po tries to sprawl out of it but Phillips keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Po manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Phillips tried to score with a low kick but Po checks it.
Lazarus Po is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Phillips tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Po defends well and Phillips ends up having to push Po into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Po walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Phillips checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Po throws a sloppy head kick and Phillips moves out of range easily.

Phillips looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Po is fending him off so far but Phillips persists. Nope, Po circles away and we're back to standing.
Phillips misses with a head kick.
Phillips will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

That's time! Phillips's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Lazarus Po is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Po lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Po would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Po really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Phillips. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Po controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Phillips manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Po is trying desperately to improve position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Po can do anything to dispel that myth.

Phillips looking to secure an arm triangle but Po defends it well.
Po has given up his back here.
Phillips really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Po looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands.
Phillips will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

I really don't envy Po right now.

Phillips has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Po is defending well but eventually Phillips manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Po has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!

After the fight, Stephane Phillips was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
