Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wheasy Whee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mitch Boggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mitch Boggs has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Wheasy Whee's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Wheasy Whee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mitch Boggs!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Vladimir Khabensky and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boggs scores with a jab to the body.
Boggs stuffs the takedown attempt from Whee. Whee gets slowly back to his feet.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Whee is defended easily by Boggs.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Whee got a little sloppy there for a moment and Boggs has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Whee has managed to get both his arms back between Boggs's legs - danger averted.

Boggs cracks Whee with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Whee is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Hardcore fight company , so we'll see if he gets out of it.
Whee is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Boggs throws some wild stikes that Whee manages to avoid easily.

Boggs has his foot on Whee's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Whee works his way back into a safe position though.

Whee drops back looking for a leg! Boggs is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Boggs manages to kick Whee off! Whee jumps back into Boggs's guard.

Whee wants to stand but Boggs has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Whee is really struggling to control Boggs but he's trying to hold on to the position.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Boggs accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Boggs's coach down at St Petersburg MMA Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Boggs's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Boggs changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Whee fights it off and pushes away nicely.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Wheasy Whee.
I think Boggs has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
