Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Brik Holtik!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Friction Greasy!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greasy shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Holtik as he avoids it easily.
Greasy has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Holtik.
Holtik throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Greasy stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Holtik follows into mount!
Greasy is rocked!
It looks like Friction Greasy has been cut.
Greasy working to try and regain half guard.
Greasy is still in real trouble! Can Holtik finish him?
Greasy is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Holtik will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Holtik trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Greasy seems to have recovered his senses.
Greasy is desperately trying to improve his position but Holtik has a good base and remains in mount.
Holtik stands up from mount. Strange move.
No luck for Greasy with that takedown attempt.
Greasy shoots for a double leg takedown but Holtik sprawls well. He's pushed Greasy's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Brik Holtik has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Friction Greasy.

Nice takedown defense from Holtik. No joy for Greasy on that attempt.
Holtik lands with a thumping leg kick.
Greasy looks gassed!

Greasy shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Holtik pinned against the cage. Holtik gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Holtik cracks the inside of Greasy's front leg.
Greasy tries to move into range but Holtik moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Friction Greasy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Greasy shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Holtik pinned against the cage. Holtik gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Holtik throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Greasy crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Brik Holtik!
