Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Adam Falcon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, James Te Huna!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Donatello Bradman and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Falcon bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
No joy there for Falcon, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Te Huna fails to land with a series of punches.
Te Huna will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Falcon shoots in for a takedown but Te Huna shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Te Huna connects with a body shot.
Falcon scores with a one two! Te Huna had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Te Huna throws a big shot that misses.
Falcon throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Te Huna connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Falcon's hands.
Falcon walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Falcon throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Te Huna on the side of the head.
A punch combination from Falcon misses.
Te Huna on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Falcon shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Te Huna sprawls well. Te Huna wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Falcon gets slowly back to his feet.
Te Huna takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Te Huna takes one to the side of the head.
Falcon drops his hands momentarily and Te Huna takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Falcon dives in and scores a takedown into Te Huna's guard.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Te Huna holds on and takes a little breather.

The ref stands the fighters back up. James Te Huna was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Falcon misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Te Huna misses with a looping right.
Some wild striking there from Falcon.
Falcon throws a right hand that Te Huna ducks under and follows up with a left that Te Huna also avoids with ease.
Te Huna throws a hook to the side of Falcon's head but Falcon sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Falcon connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The fighters circling - Te Huna throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
James Te Huna is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Te Huna has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Falcon finds it's way round the side to connect with Te Huna's head.
Falcon fails with a takedown attempt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Falcon.

Falcon moves out of range as Te Huna strikes.
Te Huna misses with an uppercut.
Te Huna displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Falcon.
Falcon shoots and misses
enabling Te Huna to counter with a crisp jab.
Te Huna lands with a right hand.
Te Huna waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Falcon.
Te Huna throws the left hand but Falcon avoids the punch easily.
Te Huna throws a hook but Falcon blocks it.
Falcon slips a jab and a cross from Te Huna.
A jab lands there for Falcon.
Te Huna might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Te Huna keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Te Huna misses with a hook. Falcon ducked under it nicely.
Adam Falcon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Falcon is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Te Huna.
Te Huna walks into a left hand.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Falcon dives in and grabs Te Huna's left leg, looking for a takedown. Te Huna pushes down on Falcon's head and hops out.

Falcon fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Te Huna to the ground. Falcon is now in Te Huna's guard.

Falcon gets to his feet - Te Huna follows without any prompting.
Falcon is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Te Huna.

Falcon decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Te Huna avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Falcon.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Te Huna can do anything to dispel that myth.
Te Huna is trying to control but Falcon manages to pass to mount!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Adam Falcon will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Falcon throws a combination. Te Huna tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Te Huna throws out a powerful jab.
Falcon lands with a straight right. Te Huna didn't see that one coming.
Falcon feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Te Hunas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Te Huna misses with a hook
and Falcon counters with a three punch combo that has Te Huna backing up. Te Huna nods at Falcon to acknowledge the strikes.
Falcon fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Te Huna keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Falcon.
Te Huna rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Falcon moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Falcon connects with a body shot that sends Te Huna's belly button to the back.

Nice sprawl there from Te Huna as Falcon shoots in.

Falcon shoots in looking for a takedown but Te Huna manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Falcon's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

and Falcon connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Falcon bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Te Huna's head backwards.
Falcon displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Te Huna throws out the jab.

Te Huna throws a big shot that misses.
Falcon looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

and Falcon counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Te Huna throws a lazy right hand but Falcon sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Falcon fails with the takedown.
Te Huna throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Falcon stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Te Huna works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Falcon changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Te Huna tries to avoid it but Falcon manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Te Huna to the ground. Te Huna escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Falcon takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Te Huna throws out a loose jab but Falcon uses good head movement to avoid it.
Falcon throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Falcon shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Te Huna as he avoids it easily.
Te Huna bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Falcon's head.
A punch lands to the side of Falcon 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Te Huna throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A left and a right from Te Huna both land. Nice combination.
Te Huna lands with a straight right. Falcon didn't see that one coming.
Te Huna throws a series of strikes that have Falcon backpedaling.


Falcon is rocked!
Te Huna lands a jab to the head.
Oh Falcon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
