Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Frank James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mars Brawl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brawl comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Dr. Dre - Kush ft. Snoop Dogg, Akon kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! On his way into the cage it seems that Frank James has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Frank James seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Daniel Blasius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James shoots in looking for a takedown but Brawl manages to keep the fight standing, pushing James's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Brawl works James's body with a nice hook.
Brawl tries to clinch but James moves away
and James counters with a straight right hand.
Brawl doesn't manage to clinch there - James circles away.
Brawl slaps away a takedown attempt from James, before circling back to the center of the mat.
The fight stays on the outside here - Brawl looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
James darts in and clinches Brawl up against the cage.
James is trying to break the clinch but Brawl is controlling him.
Brawl lands a body punch in the clinch.
I was talking to James's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
James misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Brawl.
James changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Brawl fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank James. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A decent looking body kick lands there for James.
James has his takedown stuffed
and Brawl counters with a head kick. That will keep James thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Brawl doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

James really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

James tries to circle away but Brawl has him pinned against the cage.
James can't break the clinch.
Brawl misses with a hook to the ribs.
James is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Brawl can't fight it off and eventually James manages to take the fight to the floor. Brawl looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
James drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and James jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Brawl escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. James gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Brawl wants to get back to his feet but James is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Brawl working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. James doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. James manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
James postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
James drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and James jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Brawl looking to hit a scissor sweep but James is one step ahead there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
James is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
James wants to pass the guard but Brawl is keeping the position.
Brawl wants to get back to his feet but James is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
James trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
James chips away with some ground and pound.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Brawl tries to land a sweep but no joy.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
James is working Brawl over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
James won't allow Brawl to get back to his feet.
Brawl not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Brawl wants to sweep here but James controlling him for the moment.
Brawl preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Mars Brawl will probably get the nod.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from James.
James scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Frank James is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Brawl lands a head shot.
James takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Brawl is rocked!
James throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Brawl.
Brawl is still on wobbly legs! Can James finish him?
James feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Brawl crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
